The Owner's History  | Hello! My name is Kristiana Mares and I am the owner of Infinity Bagels & Tea. I started this business because of my love for business and food. I have always loved bagels and have been to many authentic bagel shops in California. I grew up mostly in Sandpoint and left to go to school back where I was born, Santa Barbara, California. I double majored in economics, and interior design, at UCSB. I also went through culinary school at SBCC. After school I worked at a small bakery in Santa Barbara. In order to get more business and food experience I began to work at a restaurant down there, and worked my way up to manager. One day I decided I wanted to start my own business and be my own boss. I missed Sandpoint dearly, so I moved back up here. Sandpoint did not have any authentic bagel shops and you could not find a huge variety of tea. I saw an opening for a small business on 1st street, and I jumped right on it. I used my business and baking experience to create a trendy, authentic cafe. My interior design education really kicked in as I created the exact environment I wanted. This cafe is my passion and I will be running it for many years to come. |
